It’s Ten pin bowling. You can play up to 4 players. It was programmed using Visual C++ 5, OpenGL, BASS sound system, and all the graphics, modeling, animation, sound, and code are by Scott Haag. The goal is to start approaching a console feel on PC.

Bacteria is a hard logic puzzle game made by Simon Donkers. Point, click, take over your opponents stones before he, she, or the AI takes over yours… sounds simple, right? WRONG! Every move that you make must be a calculated one or, with relative ease, the improved computer AI will overwhelm you, trapping you in corners and infecting the last remaining stones that you have left. The game can have its easy moments, but the overall game in itself is by far not so simple.



There are cheats for this game. Type inverse and it will let you swop places with red. Type right-click and it will enable a right click event to rotate a stone counterclockwise. The AI is not capable of doing so. Note that typing this cheat is not considered cheating, right-clicking is.

If you land on an empty square (very frequent for the first few dozen turns) you’ll get to put down a “card” from your “hand”. You always hold eight cards and can put any of them down anywhere. Pretty soon it becomes obvious that “Yes” cards are good. If you land on one, you get closer to the goal of ten points (customizable). Landing on a “No” card takes a point away from you, landing on your home base gives you a point and takes one from the other player(s).



Not only is the game itself completely and thoroughly flexible, there are other settings as well, such as seven goal point levels, five board sizes and up to six players at once.

After picking your case, select six of the remaining 25 cases to reveal, one at a time. You will get a “phone call” from The Banker, who makes an offer to buy the contestant’s case for a certain amount, based on the cash amounts still in play. If you accept the buyout, the game then ends, and the contests of his/her case are revealed. Should you refuse the offer, you then must choose five of the remaining cases to eliminate from consideration. Another deal with The Banker is made, and play continues as before.

Battle your way through over 100 levels in a grid like setup. You must collect jewels, which will trail behind you, and take them to whirlpools. You will come across many hazards to get through and puzzles to solve to beat the game. Some of what you will come across include falling rocks, monsters which you may have to avoid or kill, keys needed to get through doors, switches to activate other objects, land mines, explosives and power ups. You may even need to go underwater, or temporarily pause time for some levels.
